Theater group goes 'Way Off Broadway' for David Hudgik

MARLBOROUGH — When people found out what Branch River Theatre was doing with the proceeds from its variety show, director Debbie Pickering said people started handing her checks.

The show, “Way Off Broadway,” isn’t opening until this Friday, the first of three performances at Marlborough’s Community House. But people weren’t interested in just the show.
