What is iGive? |
Established in 1997, iGive.com is an Internet company whose goal is to enable the economic power of individuals to benefit their chosen communities. Over 350,000 socially conscious people help over 59,000 great causes, big and small, by choosing to shop at over 1,400 socially responsible stores. The online merchants give back a percentage of your online purchases to your favorite cause. It is a free service. Put simply: you shop, they give. |

Which stores help my cause? |
The iGive network includes more than 1.400 online stores including Amazon.com, Best Buy, Staples, Expedia, Old Navy and Pottery Barn. From gifts to groceries, special occasions to everyday necessities, every purchase can help your cause. |

How much money goes to my cause? |
Up to 26% of each and every purchase benefits your cause. Most members average 3%. Donation rates vary by store and are clearly listed at iGive.com. Add the iGive button to your browser, and you can see donation rates right at each store's website. When you shop, every penny of the advertised donation goes directly to your cause. No administrative costs, fees, no mark-ups. You'll never pay more to shop through iGive. You can review your store visits and purchase/donation history, and confirm the total amount raised and distributed to David's fundraising campaign on your personal iGive page. |

Why do stores pay for it all? |
Retailers believe you'll be a great customer and you'll tell your friends. They like being good corporate citizens, helping to support YOUR favorite cause or charity. So when you see the amount or percentage being donated before you make a purchase, 100% of that is actually donated, period. |

Is shopping with the iGive Button secure? |
Yes! Every store in the iGive network offers a safe and secure online shopping experience. The shopping cart, checkout process, credit card billing, shipping, and fulfillment of your order are entirely handled by the online retailer (not by iGive.com.) Going through iGive's special links, or using the iGive Button, simply allows iGive to track the donation for your cause. |
